Mountain View Community Groups Speak Out at Council Meeting for Raise in the Wage!

Bay area community groups and individuals stand together in calling for a raise in the minimum wage in Mountain View to be passed in council following San Jose’s model with a wage of $10.15 or higher, indexed to the cost of living, and to be implemented by January 1st, 2015.

Hear members of Sacred Heart, Peninsula Peace and Justice Center, Campus Alliance for Economic Justice (Cafe J), OUR Walmart, Reverend Love from Trinity Church, Peninsula Young Democrats and Politically Inspired Action speak out.

In the audience also there to show support are members of the SEIU, OUR Walmart, and The Fools Mission among many other community members.
