January 31st: Occupy and Creativity Salon!
For this salon we explored the relationship between Occupy and creativity, from creative protest, to how we can use our own creativity to envision new possibility. The article for the week was: Occupy Wall Street and the Importance of Creative Protest from the Nation.
We also engaged in our own brainstorming session as to how we can use our own creativity in our lives as citizens seeking a better world. Check out the principles for brainstorming that we employed in our process (as well as markers and post-its).
In what ways might Occupy on the peninsula raise awareness? On this page find the resulting ideas from our brainstorm.
Salon Dialogue on Occupy and Creativity
Finally, we engaged in a salon dialogue on four questions regarding Occupy and Creativity based upon the World Cafe Model.
